Proving it takes its customers’ feedback to heart, Suzuki Philippines has officially launched the highly-anticipated AGS variant of the New S-PRESSO.
The New S-PRESSO AGS is the brand’s subcompact hatchback that’s styled like a mini-SUV. With its bold, funky design and vibrant colors, the S-Presso is an instant standout wherever it goes.

The AGS stands for Auto Gear Shift – the state-of-the-art system developed by Suzuki that uses a shift control actuator operated by the transmission ECU to enable a manual transmission to do automated gear changes without the driver needing to step on the clutch pedal and using the shift lever.
Aside from the AGS option, the new S-Press also received other upgrades. It now also comes with a new 1.0L K10C engine equipped with an Engine Auto Stop Start System (EASS) for better fuel consumption. It now also comes with a new infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, as well as an overhead microphone that is closer to the passenger for better voice reception during a hands-free conversation. Audio controls can now be done on the steering wheel with hands-free BlueTooth control.
The new S-PRESSO’s passive and active safety features include Electronic Stability Program (ESP) for traction while accelerating or traversing wet pavements or slippery roads, and Hill-Hold Control to prevent rolling backward on steep slopes. This advanced technology also automatically regulates engine output and selectively applies the brakes to help the driver maintain control and ease while traveling.
The new S-PRESSO AGS comes in four (4) colors: Sizzle Orange, Metallic Granite Gray, Fire Red, and White, and is priced at Php 660,000 for the AGS variant and Php 620,000 for Manual Transmission.
