The inaugural Philippine International Truck Show (PITS) opened Thursday at the SMX Convention Center Manila, bringing truck makers, distributors and local body builders together to present commercial vehicles and business solutions.
Organized by the Truck Manufacturers Association, Inc. (TMA) with the Automotive Body Manufacturers Association of the Philippines, Inc. (ABMAP), the three-day event runs from October 22 to 24 at Hall 1. Its theme is “Driving Progress Together.”
The show features vehicles for cargo delivery, public transport, cold-chain logistics, construction and other commercial uses. Exhibits range from diesel trucks and specialized vehicle bodies to electric commercial vehicles.
“Commercial vehicles are essential to our economy, connecting industries, communities, and opportunities across the country,” TMA president Robert Carlos said. He said the event aims to help businesses explore vehicles, technologies and applications suited to their operations.
