Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) launched the updated City and City Hatchback, alongside the New Civic RS e:HEV, on October 17. The models are available through Honda’s 41 dealerships nationwide.
The New City and City Hatchback receive exterior and interior updates, while the Civic RS e:HEV adds Honda’s S+ Shift feature. The three models were presented at HCPI’s “Beyond Sensational” display at Glorietta Palm Drive Activity Center, scheduled to run through October 18.

Both the City and City Hatchback get new 16-inch alloy wheels, clear-lens taillights and a connected headlight design. The City RS adds a trunk accent and gloss-black door handles. The City Hatchback RS receives a revised rear bumper.
Inside, the City RS and City Hatchback now have a 10-inch Display Audio system. Updated seat trims and rear USB-C charging ports are standard on the City and City Hatchback RS grades, as well as the City V.
Both models use a 1.5-liter DOHC i-VTEC engine paired with a continuously variable transmission. Honda lists output at 121 PS and 145 Nm of torque. The company cites fuel-consumption figures of 25.17 km/L for the City and 25 km/L for the City Hatchback, based on the 2021 Honda-AAP Eco Run.

Honda SENSING driver-assistance technology is standard on the City S, V and RS, and on the City Hatchback. The City RS and City Hatchback also add rain-sensing wipers, a Honda LaneWatch camera and an auto-dimming rear-view mirror.
The City is offered in S, V and RS grades. New Urban Gray Pearl and Blazing Red Pearl are exclusive to the RS. The City Hatchback is available in a single RS grade, with five exterior color choices, including the two new colors.
HCPI also announced the local availability of Honda Racing Corporation accessories for the City and City Hatchback. The accessories were shown on a City S at the launch event.

The Civic RS e:HEV adds S+ Shift, which works with Sport mode and the paddle shifters to simulate gear changes through virtual upshifts and rev-matched downshifts. Active Sound Control adjusts the engine sound during acceleration and deceleration. Honda cites fuel consumption of 30.12 km/L, based on the Department of Energy’s 2025 Eco-Run.
The Civic RS e:HEV also includes Honda SENSING, Honda CONNECT and Google Automotive Services. It is offered in five colors, including new Urban Gray Pearl and Blazing Pearl.
All three models qualify for HCPI’s Honda Secure Plus extended warranty, which provides vehicle coverage for five years or 150,000 km, whichever comes first. The Civic RS e:HEV’s hybrid battery is covered for eight years or 160,000 km, whichever comes first.
