Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) has officially added an electrified variant to its flagship SUV lineup with the launch of the Land Cruiser HEV. Previewed at the 10th Philippine International Motor Show, the hybrid brings Toyota’s multi-pathway strategy to the storied Land Cruiser nameplate.
Built on a 70-year legacy of quality, durability and reliability, the Land Cruiser—first produced as the Jeep BJ in 1951—has long been a staple for Filipino drivers seeking proven off-road performance and longevity. The Land Cruiser 300 continues that tradition as a full-size SUV designed for both urban roads and rugged terrain.
The new Land Cruiser HEV pairs a 3.5L twin-turbo V6 gasoline engine producing 415 PS with an electric motor rated at 49 PS, replacing the previous 3.3L V6 twin-turbo diesel. The hybrid package also adds electric power steering and subtle exterior updates, including Aero with Jet-Black Garnish.

“The Land Cruiser HEV is part of Toyota’s efforts in offering different powertrains that address our customers’ needs and lifestyles. Customers who want to experience the legendary heritage and proven performance of the Land Cruiser while having access to Toyota’s hybrid technology will find this car to be the perfect choice as their partner on the road. We hope the addition of the Land Cruiser HEV to Toyota’s wide lineup of cars gives our customers the power of choice when it comes to their mobility needs,” shared TMP First Vice President for Vehicle Sales Operations Elijah Marcial.
The Land Cruiser HEV is available in Attitude Black Mica, Silver Metallic, Gray Metallic and Precious White Pearl (premium).
