Nissan Philippines, Inc. recently celebrated its achievements in 2017 at their annual Thanksgiving party held in Manila last week. With the theme “Change the Game,” the company plans on doing just that, with the addition of five new and upgraded vehicles to beef up their stable.
“2017 was a record-breaking year for Nissan,” shared Ramesh Narasimhan, Nissan Philippines, Inc. President and Managing Director. “Not only were we able to launch new models in competitive segments, but we were also able to expand our foothold across the country and achieve our largest sales record of 25,000 vehicles growing by 48% versus the previous year. These inspire us to set the bar higher and change the game this 2018, starting with new vehicles that will surely shake up the industry.”

Developed in collaboration with dealer partners, the Nissan Urvan Premium S comes equipped with a dealer option luxury kit including 4 captain seats with leather appointments, overhead compartments, and entertainment system. The new Nissan Juke N Style now sports a new red and white color combination reminiscent of the iconic NISMO colors and make it stand out even more. The Nissan Patrol Royale 7 A/T is reinforcing its title as the King of the Off- Road with its upgraded engine that produces an impressive 400 PS of power and 560 NM of torque, coupled with a new 7-speed automatic transmission. The fourth vehicle previewed is still embargoed but will be unveiled soon.
At the same event, Nissan surprised its guests with the Philippine debut of the NISMO brand starting with GT-R NISMO, the pinnacle of high- performance in the NISMO line up. As presented by Nissan’s Chief Product Specialist for the Nissan GTR and NISMO Hiroshi Tamura, NISMO is Nissan’s legendary motorsport and performance group which was established in 1984 that promises to redefine the pleasure of driving a Nissan car, and mixing it with a perfect balance of motorsport innovations, power, and excitement in every drive. Tamura shared his explanation of the GTR NISMO philosophy, motorsport-inspired features, body construction, carefully handcrafted light-weight materials, and its powerful engine and performance enhancements, engineered to give an exhilarating experience on the road and on the track.
