Mitsubishi Motors Philippines (MMPC) has officially announced the launch date of the highly anticipated all-new Mitsubishi XForce compact SUV on July 5, 2024. This SUV was meticulously designed and tailored specifically for the ASEAN region.

After a series of teasers showcasing the sleek and stylish design of the Mitsubishi XForce, MMPC has revealed that the vehicle will be available in two variants, each priced as follows:
- XFORCE GLS CVT – P1,367,000
- XFORCE GT CVT – P1,581,000

Both variants are powered by a robust 16-valve 1.5-liter in-line 4 DOHC with MIVEC (4A91) engine, delivering an impressive 105 PS @ 6,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 141 NM @ 4,000 rpm. The engine will be paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and feature interchangeable Drive Modes: Normal, Wet, Gravel, and Mud.
Notable features of the Mitsubishi XForce include its modern design, cutting-edge Dynamic Sound YAMAHA Premium speakers, advanced safety and convenience technologies, and a spacious and contemporary interior. The vehicle will also include a 12.3-inch Smart Phone Link Display Audio (SDA) with wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth connectivity, and multiple USB ports for charging.

In terms of safety and convenience, the XForce is equipped with front, side, and curtain airbags, a reverse camera, rear proximity sensors, active stability and traction control, active Yaw control, hill start assist, forward collision mitigation system (FCM), leading car departure notification (LCDN), blind spot warning system (BSW), rear cross-traffic alert (RCTA), a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and adaptive cruise control, among other features.
Mitsubishi is targeting to sell around 7,000 units of the XForce in a year. This will further strengthen the position of Mitsubishi in the Philippines and other countries in the region.
