The Kia Carnival received three trophies from the recently concluded 2022-2023 Auto Focus Media’s Choice Awards.
The Auto Focus Media’s Choice Awards is a yearly event wherein a select group of top Philippine automotive media practitioners vote and choose the vehicles that stand out in their respective categories. First introduced in 2008, the event is a vital component of Sunshine Television’s Automobile Industry Merit Program. The awards recognize the automotive industry’s non-stop efforts to provide vehicle buyers and owners with the best on-board features, styling, performance, and overall value in four concurrent categories: Best Design, Best Engine Performance, Best Safety Features, and Best Value for Money.
The Carnival came away with the Best Design, Best Engine Performance, and Best Safety Features trophies—all in the Standard MPV Category.
The current Kia Carnival model was introduced locally in February 2022 and continues to wow audiences with it’s design, technological innovations, and safety. With first-class seating for up to seven adults, the Kia Carnival delivers a refreshing traveling experience, thanks to its clever use of space, luxurious appointments, and cutting-edge technology and connectivity features.
Internationally, the fourth-generation Carnival has been the recipient of numerous international awards, namely ‘Best Minivan’ by premier global media company Newsweek during its 2021 Autos Awards. This event highlights the automotive industry’s finest in 25 individual vehicle and brand categories. In addition, validating its stylishness and design features, the Carnival received top honors in the ‘Transportation’ category in the 2021 Good Design Awards, one of the oldest design competitions in the world, organized by Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
