Hyundai Motor Philippines Inc. (HMPH) opened a pop-up store at Robinson’s North Tacloban on May 3, 2024. This development coincided with the ceremonial groundbreaking for the Hyundai Tacloban dealership, located along the National Highway in Palo, Leyte. Key executives of HMPH, including Dongwook Lee, president, and Cecil Capacete, managing director, were in attendance to mark this significant occasion. The event also marked the official partnership with Topcars Autoworld Corporation, who will be spearheading the operations of the Hyundai Tacloban dealership. Representatives from Topcars Autoworld Corporation, including Willard Chan, president; Ryan Lindbergh Chan, managing director; and Charlene Lesley Chan, chief finance officer, were present at both ceremonies.
As the largest city in Eastern Visayas, Tacloban presents a strategic location for Hyundai to expand its presence and showcase its cutting-edge mobility solutions. In alignment with Hyundai’s vision of “Progress for Humanity,” the company is committed to extending its network to reach more Filipinos nationwide.
Cecil Capacete, managing director of HMPH, expressed his appreciation for Topcars Autoworld Corporation, stating, “Beyond our advanced technology offerings, Hyundai’s commitment to customer care sets us apart from competitors.
