Honda Motor Company Unveils Electrification Campaign in the Philippines

Launches electric bike, power tools, and previews Civic RS e:HEV

Honda has always been driven by its slogan, “The Power of Dreams,” to innovate and make a difference in the community. As a company that strives to make a difference in society, Honda added a new tagline to the global brand slogan, “The Power of Dreams—How We Move You.” This reflects Honda’s mission of continuously making solutions that offer people the joy and freedom of mobility from the present to the future.

To attain its commitment to becoming carbon neutral by 2050, Honda recently announced its exciting lineup of electrification projects in the Philippines. These products include a new e:HEV model from Honda Cars, the first BEV from Honda Motorcycles, and a new generation of power products. These new and upcoming models signify Honda’s commitment to carbon neutrality in the Philippines.

Honda is also reaffirming its commitment to expanding its electric vehicle portfolio. The Honda 0 Series will spearhead the automotive division’s efforts with a target launch year of 2026 worldwide. The Honda 0 Series will eventually grow into a wide and diversified range of vehicles that will suit various needs

Battery-Powered Handled Products

Honda’s new range of direct-current handheld (DCHH) battery-powered products makes personal and professional tasks easier and highly efficient. Convenient and comfortable, anyone will enjoy using these products due to their lightweight, portability, easy operation, and lower noise output.

The Leaf Blower is designed to effortlessly clear away leaves from lawns and driveways, whether on wet or dry surfaces. The Hedge Trimmer is designed for pruning, clearing, and trimming shrubs, hedges, and bushes. The trimmer has standout features for trimming, weed removal, grass mowing, and trimming. The Chainsaw is also available for clearing storm damage, cutting dead tree branches, and pruning fruit trees.

With Honda’s latest range of inventive direct current handheld products, users can do their tasks with a click of a button. This range highlights a universal battery system, which allows users to easily swap and recharge the battery in moments without forced breaks.  Its reduced noise output and low vibration make these tools fit for residential, hotels, condominiums, and small and medium-sized gardens. Users will also benefit from its zero-emission technology and low-maintenance features of its internal and external parts. Moreover, the equipment does not require frequent periodic maintenance.

Intensely Powerful Electric Motor Vehicle with Innovative Features

The future has arrived as Honda Philippines, Inc. (HPI) unveils its first two-wheeled battery electric vehicle (BEV). The All-New EM1 e: powered by Honda Mobile Power Pack e: is installed with a high-quality lithium-ion battery. A type of off-board charger designed to be conveniently charged even at home, Honda also takes pride in its seal of global safety standard with UN R136 compliant with international safety standards.

Moving into specifics, this world-class two-wheeled battery electric vehicle, installed with a Honda Brushless Electric Motor, is a sophisticated addition that offers a front disc brake, twin suspension for a more comfortable ride, and enhanced modulation. Other features include Standard Mode and Econ Mode Riding, an LCD Digital Display, and an All-LED lighting system, with a design accessible for various individuals. This radical transition is stimulated by a powerful yet cost-efficient model that can be charged at home quickly to support daily urban riding from going to the office, school, coffee shops, and other errands, to going back home.

Compact, carbon-neutral, and eco-friendly, this first-ever electric vehicle from Honda Philippines, Inc. (HPI) is installed with the best technology, geared towards its strong direction to safety and advocacy for Transforming the Future.

This electric vehicle will be available in Honda flagship shops in NCR, Cebu, and Davao, and other flagship shops nationwide this month.

The New Honda Civic RS e:HEV

Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) is proud to expand its hybrid electric vehicle range by introducing its latest electrified model, the New Honda Civic RS e:HEV.

The New Honda Civic RS e:HEV represents the next chapter of HCPI by further expanding its hybrid electric vehicle lineup. Featuring a new exterior design and leading-edge technologies, this model redefines the iconic sedan in the age of electrification and connectivity.

It also boasts the latest generation of Honda CONNECT, now with more features that allow owners more interaction with their vehicles via a smartphone app. Google Automotive Services are also new to the Honda Civic, allowing for more personalization and letting its owners add more useful and relevant applications in their everyday lives. Honda SENSING has also been given a significant update for enhanced detection for all road users, as Honda swears by its global slogan, Safety for Everyone.
