Ford Territory Hybrid Marks First Year in the Philippines with Segment-Leading Sales

Ford Philippines is marking one year since the launch of the Ford Territory Hybrid, a milestone that has turned the brand’s full-hybrid small SUV into one of the best-selling electrified vehicles in the local market.

A global first for the Philippines, the Territory Hybrid debuted in 2025 as the first market launch within Ford’s International Markets Group (IMG). The model built on the Territory’s strong reception since its initial 2020 introduction and arrived in two variants: Titanium X and Trend, with a starting retail price of P1,399,000. That competitive positioning quickly attracted first-time car buyers, young professionals and small families considering the switch to electrified mobility.

Sales momentum picked up fast. The Territory Hybrid passed the 1,000-customer threshold in just over three months after launch and continued to grow in 2026. From January to June 2026, Ford sold 2,760 units, making the Territory Hybrid the best-selling small utility hybrid in the country, based on data from the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (CAMPI). Over the trailing twelve months since its August 2025 debut, cumulative sales reached 4,405 units—clear evidence of steady demand for a full-hybrid that balances fuel efficiency, everyday practicality and advanced technology.

“The success of the Territory Hybrid isn’t measured solely by sales, but by the growing community of owners who make it part of their daily commute,” said Pedro Simoes, managing director, Ford Philippines. “We celebrate these milestones with our customers and we thank them for their trust and support.”

The Territory Hybrid’s powertrain pairs a dedicated 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with an electric motor and a two-speed dedicated hybrid transmission. The setup delivers up to 19.6 km/L in fuel economy while recharging the battery automatically via regenerative braking, eliminating the need for external charging. Spacious interior packaging, driver-assist tech and a refined driving character have made it an appealing choice for first-time hybrid owners seeking a practical step toward electrified driving.

Looking ahead, Ford Philippines plans to build on this first-year momentum. With record sales and a growing owner base, the Territory Hybrid is positioned to expand its footprint as a practical, efficient option for Filipino drivers who want performance, economy and everyday usability in one package.

The Ford Territory Hybrid is available in Trend and Titanium X trims, with pricing starting at P1,399,000.
