OMODA & JAECOO marked its third anniversary with a major milestone. At the 2026 Beijing Auto Show, the brand announced that its cumulative global sales have surpassed 1 million units as of April 2026. The achievement gives the Chery International-backed marque what it describes as the fastest run to one million sales by a young automotive brand in global industry history.

The sales figure, announced during Chery International Group’s presentation at the show, marks a major moment for the fast-growing brand. OMODA & JAECOO doubled its sales year on year for three straight years, with more than 60,000 vehicles sold in March 2026 alone.

Europe has become the biggest force behind that growth. The region now accounts for 41.5% of total global sales, with March sales up 246% year on year. In the UK, OMODA & JAECOO ranked sixth overall with a 4.7% market share and 17,951 units sold in a single month. The JAECOO 7 also led its segment and was described by international media as “Europe’s most successful Chinese model, no one else.”
The brand’s global rollout has been unusually quick. In three years, OMODA & JAECOO has entered 69 markets, including 18 EU countries, 15 right-hand-drive markets and 36 left-hand-drive markets. Its retail footprint now stands at 1,364 dealerships. According to the brand, that means a new market has opened every 16 days, while a new showroom opens somewhere in the world every day.
Several European markets are now delivering strong results. Spain and Italy each recorded more than 3,000 monthly sales, while Poland passed 2,000 units. In Spain, a joint survey by PwC Spain and Faconauto gave OMODA & JAECOO a score of 9.9 out of 10, making it the highest-rated brand among dealers.

The company says its products are shaped around younger buyers and their lifestyles. OMODA focuses on design-led crossovers, while JAECOO targets customers looking for a more rugged SUV. OMODA 7, described as a “flowing haute couture piece,” has appeared at London Fashion Week and Madrid Fashion Week in collaboration with Vogue. JAECOO 5, meanwhile, has been developed around the ideas of “best pet-friendly SUV” and “best outdoor SUV.”
Electrified models are also playing a central role. The brand’s SHS hybrid system is designed to deliver strong performance, low energy use and long range. OMODA & JAECOO says SHS-H combines hybrid efficiency with the quiet feel of an EV, delivering “one car, two vibes.”
Among its latest results, OMODA 5 SHS-H has passed 400,000 cumulative global sales. JAECOO 5 EV reached 20,000 monthly sales within nine months of launch and ranks first in EV sales in several markets, including Indonesia and Thailand.

OMODA & JAECOO is now aiming even higher. Its next target is annual sales of 1 million units by 2027. The next phase will include more products, wider use of intelligent technology and the rollout of features such as VPD intelligent valet parking. The AI Cabin, due to debut in the OMODA 4 later this year, will add gaming, voice interaction and intelligent navigation.
OMODA & JAECOO officially launched in the Philippines in February 2025, following a series of brand introductions in 2024, including participation in activations such as the Manila International Auto Show. The brand celebrated its first year in country, selling 600 units. The brand continues to grow, with fifteen showrooms currently in operation. This number is expected to reach forty by the end of the year.
