Nitto Tires Philippines, through its official distributor, YHI Philippines, Inc., has pledged its support for the Great Philippine Overland Loop 2023, spearheaded by Mototesto Overland Equipment. The epic 20-day overland adventure is set to circumnavigate the Philippines from September 24 to October 13, 2023. A total of twenty 4×4 off-road rigs will travel over 6,500-kilometers, through 38 provinces, and six RORO (roll-on/roll-off) ship crossings.
With the goal to inspire more local and foreign tourists to explore the Philippines by means of Overlanding, the entire adventure will be documented by a professional crew to put together a coffee table book and a four-part YouTube series highlighting the different cultures they encountered during their journey. According to Mototesto Overland Equipment CEO Tim Tuason, the raw footage will also be made available to the local tourism units to use for their local tourism promotional activities.
