Aside from the MG Cyberster, the MG ONE was also previewed at the recently held MG Christmas Revel Ball in Makati City. The company is hoping to make a dent in the highly competitive compact crossover segment with its new compact crossover that is set to be launched in the first quarter of 2024.

Built on the SAIC Motor Intelligent Global Architecture (SIGMA) platform, the MG ONE offers seating for five and boasts a dynamic and muscular exterior, a roomy and technologically advanced interior, as well as a host of safety features. While the Philippine specs are yet to be officially disclosed, the MG ONE available in other markets is equipped with a turbocharged 1.5-liter engine and paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT). The combination delivers an impressive output of 181 HP and 285 Nm of torque, more than enough power for a vehicle of its size. In terms of pricing, the MG One is expected to slot between the MG ZS, which starts at P848,999, and the MG HS, with a starting price of P1,258,888.
With the exciting additions coming to the MG lineup, MG Philippines hopes to capture more Filipino hearts and continue its impressive growth in the country.
