VinFast E-Motorcycles has officially launched in the Philippines with three battery-swappable models aimed squarely at riders of 125cc-class motorcycles: the Evo, Feliz II, and Viper. The media event was held in Makati City, coinciding with the start of test drive events in all the 21 operational 3S dealerships (Sales, Service, and Spare parts) across the country.

VinFast’s initial lineup offers modern, cost-effective and sustainable mobility options to Filipino commuters while laying the groundwork for a broader green mobility ecosystem. The rollout follows a reservation period for early adopters and reflects strong market demand for battery-swapping electric motorcycles, reinforcing the company’s investment and rapid expansion in the Philippines.

VinFast plans to grow its E-Motorcycle brand around three core pillars: high-quality products, accessible pricing, and exceptional after-sales service — a strategy reflected in the now-operational showrooms and more than 100 additional locations in the pipeline.

“Opening 21 VinFast showrooms alongside the launch of our three electric motorcycle models reflects VinFast’s long-term investment commitment to the Philippines. Beyond offering products that meet diverse mobility needs, we are building a comprehensive ecosystem that makes it easier for customers to access our vehicles, energy solutions, and support services throughout their ownership journey. As our electric mobility ecosystem continues to expand, we believe electric motorcycles can become an increasingly practical and convenient choice in the everyday lives of Filipinos,” said Ms. Vo Thi Cam Tu, CEO of VinFast E-Scooters & E-Bikes, International Markets.

As of launch time, the 21 showroom are still setting up the two battery-swapping cabinets each facility is expected to host. Each battery cabinet can charge up to six batteries simultaneously.

Model line-up

The Evo, Feliz II and Viper, while sharing many components, have distinct characteristics and target different rider priorities while sharing core EV features. The Evo blends classic styling with urban agility, It has a top speed of 80 km/h and can reach up to 150 km using two fully charged batteries. It measures 1850 x 675 x 1130 mmm and has a wheel base of 1295mm.

The Feliz II focuses on practicality and versatile performance, with a top speed of 90 km/h and a maximum range of 145 km. It measures slightly bigger at 1913 x 693 x 1130 mm, and has a wheelbase of 1320mm. The Evo and Feliz II share body color options, namely, Black Solid, White Cyan, Green Olive, and Red Candy Tone.

The Viper model is currently the top option in the lineup. It has a sportier aesthetic geared toward younger, tech-minded riders; it has a 90 km/h top speed and a maximum 150 km range with two batteries. Measuring 1950 x 712 x 1122 mm and with a wheel base of 1320, it is the biggest among the three models. Colors available include the hero color Yellow Sand, as well as Red Candytone, White Cyan, Black Solid, and Cement Gray.

Shared features and charging options

All three models include two under-seat battery compartments compatible with VinFast’s battery-swapping network, offering riders flexibility and convenience. All three are listed with maximum power of 3,000 W using one battery and and a peak power of 5,200 W using two 1.5 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries. Charging time takes around 4.5 hours per battery with the 400 W charger included with every purchase. A 1,000 W fast charger is also available as an after-sales purchase.

Standard across all model are Reverse Mode, Hill Start Assist, and a USB charging port. Buyers can choose to purchase with batteries included or opt for a battery subscription plan depending on expected usage.

Pricing and launch offer

Pricing depends on battery subscription or battery ownership or subscription. Each unit has a 4+2-year or 60,000+12,000-km warranty, whichever comes first.

Cost of ownership: electric vs gasoline

Expansion and infrastructure

To support the battery swapping ecosystem, VinFast intends to deploy 30,000 battery-swapping cabinets nationwide through partnerships with infrastructure providers. This is includes the stations located at all VinFast E-Motorcycle showrooms that the brand wants to set up as part of their short-term plans.
