VinFast has taken a major step in scaling its global aftersales operations, signing Memoranda of Understanding with 29 international partners during its 2026 Global Business Conference held May 4–10. The agreements aim to establish EV service workshops that meet VinFast’s global standards across North America, Europe, the Middle East, India, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Kazakhstan.
Under the MOUs, partners will deploy workshops certified to VinFast’s technician training and quality control programs, backed by a parts supply network targeting 24-hour delivery of common spare parts in key markets. The move is part of VinFast’s broader strategy to build a comprehensive EV ecosystem covering aftersales services, charging infrastructure, and customer support to accelerate electric mobility adoption.
VinFast says its international expansion builds on an operational foundation proven in Vietnam, where nearly 400 service workshops were in place by the end of 2025, bringing the company’s global footprint to almost 800 facilities. The automaker plans to grow that network to more than 1,100 service workshops globally in 2026, using a mix of dealerships, fleet-focused operations, and third-party local service partners.

“Our goal is not simply to expand the network, but to build a customer-centric aftersales ecosystem that delivers an outstanding experience on a global scale. Through partnerships with experienced local operators and the application of VinFast’s global standards, we aim to provide aftersales services that are exceptional, responsive, and reliable. We also aspire to bring Vietnam’s five-star service culture and spirit of dedication to the world, creating a unique experience for international customers. That is VinFast’s long-term commitment to the transition to electric mobility,” said Bui Viet Hung, Deputy CEO of Global Aftersales of VinFast.
Customer support initiatives accompanying the network expansion include repair-time commitments in Vietnam, replacement vehicle support for international customers, and ongoing battery inspection, software updates, and technical assistance throughout ownership. Conference activities also gave partners tours of VinFast’s manufacturing complex and the Vingroup ecosystem to showcase production scale and capabilities.
Complementing aftersales growth, VinFast is partnering with charging operators and V-Green to pursue a global charging rollout targeted at more than 1.5 million ports, aiming to improve charging access and deliver a seamless ownership experience for EV customers worldwide.
