Ford Philippines has named the winners of its 2026 Skills Olympics, a national competition testing the technical and customer-service skills of dealership technicians and service advisors.
The competition was held for the first time at the new Ford Learning Center. Participants advanced through a selection process involving 452 technicians and 154 service advisors from Ford’s network of 50 dealers. Seven finalists from different dealer groups competed at the national level.
Christian Paul Barroga of Ford Ilocos Norte won the Service Technician category. Kenneth Dimatulac of Ford Sta. Rosa placed second, followed by Jerick Valencia of Ford Global City.

In the Service Advisor category, Emilio Hermida of Ford Subic took first place. Jeffrey Cruz of Ford Manila Bay placed second, and Sean Kelvin Guangco of Ford Cebu finished third.
The contests assessed product and technical knowledge, diagnostic accuracy, repair and maintenance procedures, service consultation, communication, and customer-focused decision-making.
Barroga will represent the Philippines at the Ford International Markets Group Skills Olympics in Bangkok this November, competing against winners from other Ford markets.

Ford Philippines Managing Director Pedro Simoes said the competition helps the company benchmark skills, share practices, and identify development opportunities across its dealer network.
The automaker said its new Ford Learning Center will support training for technicians, service advisors, sales consultants, and dealer customer representatives as vehicle technology and customer needs evolve.
