The new Shell Helix High Mileage uses synthetic technology that is specifically formulated to protect older engines. Its Flexi-molecule technology constantly adapts to boost protection where engines need it most, especially during situations when engines experience intense heat and pressure. It promises up to 40% better wear protection and helps prevent sludge and other damaging deposits for better performance. The new Shell Helix High Mileage also helps prevent leaks and reduces oil burn-off, to reduce the frequency of top-ups.
The new Shell Helix High Mileage comes in two variants: 10W-40 for gasoline engines, and the more viscous 15W-50 for light-duty diesel engines.
The suggested retail price of the new Shell Helix High Mileage line are as follows:
