Art enthusiasts and pickup lovers alike are in for a weekend treat as Nissan brings the “Dirt Art” Navara exhibit at the activity area of Alabang Town Center.
Showcasing the best of both worlds, the Navara “Dirt Art” exhibit will run until Sunday, November 6, 2016. The Nissan Navara serves as a canvas for local artist John Carlo “JC” Vargas, who transforms the dirt into scenes of the urban and the off-road landscapes on the vehicle itself.
“Having a dirty car is something normal for everyday drivers. But a dirty car isn’t always necessarily a bad thing. In fact, dirt can be seen as a testament to the vehicle’s versatility,” Ramesh Narasimhan, NPI President and Managing Director explained. “With this Navara “Dirt Art” exhibit, we are highlighting how the tough yet smart Nissan Navara can handle any terrain, whether in the city or country, and still look good.”
Vargas is known for his “Dirty Watercolor”, an award-winning project, where paintings were made using samples of dirty river water. An architect by profession, Vargas’s passion for art has led him to also pursue a career as a painter. His chosen media are watercolor and acrylic.
