After months of teasing, Volkswagen Philippines today officially launched its entry into the luxury van segment. In an online event led by its president Felipe Estrella, VW executives disclosed the features and specifications of the units the company brought in.
The Multivan Kombi is the crème de la crème of Volkswagen’s vans. It distinguishes itself from other Kombi configurations such as the Transporter, which is designed for cargo and shuttle services, the Caravelle that is used as an economical people carrier, and the California that is designed more as a family camper.
From the sitting configuration to the Nappa leather and its sedan-like cockpit, its styling is obviously not your ordinary van.
“The premium, top-of-the-line Volkswagen Multivan Kombi is ready to cater to the premium market consisting of executives, businessmen, and professionals who are at the peak of their careers and games. These individuals value luxurious comfort, features, and interior space—all in a classic and understated design that serves as an extension and enhancement of the owner’s hard-earned privileges and status. Used for both their business on the weekdays and leisure activities on the weekends, this German precision Multivan Kombi surely holds a special value for its owner. More than its sentimental worth associated with its predecessor, the Kombi is valued for its safety features and business-class amenities tailor-fitted to its owner. To learn more about the Kombi, we happily invite everyone to contact one of our Volkswagen dealerships,” said Estrella.
