Mr. Noriyuki Takakura is the new President and General Manager of Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. effective April 1, 2017.
Prior to his move to HCPI, Mr. Takakura previously held his post as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Honda Australia Pty., Ltd. (AUH) for four years, where he was in charge of Australia’s automobile business unit.
With his 15-year stint in Honda, he gained his expertise in Product Planning, Marketing, and Sales.
Mr. Toshio Kuwahara, who previously led HCPI, will be appointed as the new General Director of Honda Vietnam Co., Ltd. (HVN), where he will be assigned both automobile and motorcycle business units. With his extensive experience in Sales, Marketing, and Dealer Network for both Honda operations globally, working with HVN will be a great opportunity for him to further share his knowledge and skills, similar to the impact he has left in the Philippines.
