Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) recently sold the Honda Team Mugen SF13 racecar they brought in the country in 2014 to showcase in dealerships and events following its championship-winning year. The proceeds of the sale went to HCPI’s donation drive to hospitals around Laguna as part of the company’s support to medical frontliners in battling the COVID-19 pandemic.
HCPI donated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and food packs to three hospitals: The Medical City South Luzon and New Sinai MDI Hospital in Santa Rosa, Laguna; and Global Care Medical Center in Canlubang, Laguna. During the ECQ, Honda also temporarily provided vehicles to these hospitals, along with four (4) other namely: Unihealth-Southwoods Hospital and Medical Center and Perpetual Help Medical Center in Biñan, Laguna; Global Care Medical Center in Cabuyao, Laguna; and Carmona Hospital and Medical Center in Carmona, Cavite, to help in the mobilization of their frontliners.
