Chinese manufacturer GAC Motor is officially in the Philippines. Legado Motors, Inc. (LMI), head by former Governor Luis “Chavit” Singson, is the exclusive distributor. Graced by no less than the President of the Philippines, President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, LMI launched the brand and unveiled their lineup last November 7, 2018, in Pasig City.
Founded in 2008, Guangzhou Automobile Motor Corporation Limited (GAC Motor) originated from Hualong Town, Guangzhou, China, and currently has four assembly plants in Guangzhou, Huangzhou, Yichang, and Xinjiang. Having established overseas markets in the Middle East, South America, and Africa, the company strives to become a global leader with a goal to produce and sell one million vehicles by 2020 and to establish an outstanding brand favored by customers worldwide.
Unveiled at the launch was the full range of vehicles to be carried by LMI.
