Ford Philippines recently inaugurated its new 1,500-square-meter Ford Learning Center in Calamba, Laguna, establishing a central training hub for technical and non-technical development across its dealer network. Replacing a 110-square-meter training area in Makati, the facility will become the new base of the Ford Academy starting July 15, expanding capacity and modernizing training for sales, service, and support personnel nationwide.
The furture-ready Learning Center houses seven mechanical bays, including a dedicated electric vehicles (EV), four flexible classrooms, a dedicated Ford showroom, meeting rooms, office spaces, and a cafeteria. The 451-square-meter mechanical workshop enables multiple simultaneous hands-on sessions and mirrors a functioning dealership environment for diagnostics, repairs, and certifications on both internal combustion engine (ICE) and EV platforms. Conventional bays are fitted with two-post and four-post lifts to support comprehensive technician training across vehicle types. Equipment are modular and can be moved around. The workshop alone has 6 air-conditioning units as well as an exhaust system to keep the area at a learning-inducive temperature as well as safe for all occupants

A 195-square-meter reception and showroom area allows immersive product training and vehicle walkarounds for sales personnel and service advisors, while four modern classrooms can host more than 100 participants per session. Smaller meeting rooms support coaching and assessments for groups of two to seven, and on-site amenities include a 72-seat cafeteria and a 24-seat extension office to encourage collaboration and informal learning. . The whole facility is connected to the internet allowing for collaborative livestreams anywhere in the facility, when needed.
“The opening of the Learning Center is not just about opening a new building; it is about building the future of Ford in the Philippines. It represents our strong commitment to this market—to our customers, our partners, and our people,” said Pedro Simoes, managing director, Ford Philippines. “At Ford, we believe that great vehicles are only part of the ownership journey. What truly makes the difference is the experience—how we support, serve, and care for our customers every day.”

“As vehicle technologies rapidly evolve—from advanced connectivity to sophisticated safety features and electrified systems—our dealership teams must be equipped with the highest level of technical mastery, product knowledge, and customer-handling skills. We are confident that this Ford Learning Center can help standardize, elevate, and future-proof our operational capabilities”, added Pushparaj Muthusamy, director, Ford Customer Service Division, Ford Philippines.
The Learning Center complements Ford’s after-sales modernization in the Philippines, following the 2024 opening of the Ford Parts Distribution Center in Laguna to improve parts availability. Customers benefit from enhanced service offerings including Online Service Booking, Mobile Service Vehicle, Express Service, Service Price Calculator, and Pickup and Delivery — all designed to improve convenience and peace of mind for Ford owners as vehicle technologies shift toward electrification and enhanced connectivity.
