The 2022 Chevy Trailblazer Compact SUV is set to launch on Sunday, October 24, 2021, via the Chevrolet Philippines‘ Facebook and Youtube channels.
While the soon-to-be-launched variant carries the same nameplate as the mid-size SUV introduced in the country in 2016, it has moved down a category and is now a 5-seater crossover. Developed from the ground up and designed to cater to Chevrolet’s global markets, the all-new Chevy Trailblazer is poised to shake up the highly competitive compact SUV segment.
The all-new Chevy Trailblazer will have a sporty stance and flexible yet comfortable interior. It will be powered by a turbocharged DOHC 1.3-liter engine mated to a CVT and will have a suite of safety features. Other highlights include Enhanced Stability Control & Driver Assistance Systems, plus an 8” Chevrolet MyLink with Apple Carplay and Android Auto connectivity.
The distributors have announced that there will be two variants available: LT and Premier, and each vehicle will come with a five-year warranty, automatic enrollment to the 24/7 Chevrolet Roadside Assistance for three (3) years, and immediate access to the Chevy Hotline for convenient vehicle service and ownership needs will be included in the purchase.
While the full specifications and prices of the Chevy Trailblazer LT and Premier will be available on the launch date, speculative pricing is pegged to start at the Php1.5M mark.
