Mazda Philippines will soon be the authorized distributor of AutoExe tuning parts and accessories in the country. AutoExe is a renowned tuning company specializing in Mazda vehicles. This partnership marks Mazda’s commitment to offering enhanced driving experiences to its customers in the Philippines. As a preview of what’s to come, Mazda Philippines showcased the MX-5 AutoExe Edition, a limited-edition variant set to redefine performance on local roads.
“Mazda has always prided itself in building cars that create a lasting, almost inseparable bond with its owner. Today, we are proud to announce that we are bringing AutoExe to the Philippines. We see this as the next step to offer more to our customers and, of course, to Mazda enthusiasts,” said Steven Tan, president and CEO of Mazda Philippines.
The highlight of this collaboration is the exclusive MX-5 AutoExe Edition, with only five units available for purchase at P2.2 million each. This special edition MX-5 incorporates AutoExe parts valued at over P115,000, seamlessly integrated to enhance performance and aesthetics.
Based on the MX-5 2.0L Skyactiv MT model, the MX-5 AutoExe Edition features a sleek black top and black leather interior. Leveraging the MX-5’s lightweight design and optimal 50:50 weight distribution, the AutoExe kit includes components such as the Tower Brace Set, Member Brace Set, MT Shift Knob, and Carbon Key Cover, complemented by a distinct AutoExe badge.
The AutoExe Tower Brace Set, with its innovative three-dimensional structure, significantly enhances rigidity and improves suspension performance, resulting in enhanced agility and steering response. Meanwhile, the Member Brace Set effectively minimizes body twisting, ensuring superior stability and control during driving maneuvers.
Crafted from premium materials, the AutoExe MT Shift Knob boasts a blend of style and functionality, featuring sporty red stitching and a black alumite logo plate. Additionally, the Carbon Key Cover, made using advanced autoclave technology, adds a touch of sophistication to the MX-5’s standard key.
Founded in Tokyo by former Mazda works driver Yojiro Terada, AutoExe has a rich heritage rooted in the Le Mans racing spirit. With a focus on delivering a “New Driving Sensation,” AutoExe parts are engineered for everyday use, prioritizing driving performance without compromising comfort and practicality.
Takao Kijima, renowned as “Mr. Roadster,” brings his expertise to AutoExe’s engineering team, further enhancing the driving experience. His dedication to crafting cars that prioritize the joy of driving aligns perfectly with AutoExe’s philosophy.
The official launch of AutoExe in the Philippines through Mazda Philippines is scheduled before the end of the year. More details regarding the availability of parts and pricing will be disclosed closer to the commencement of retail sales. Automotive enthusiasts are encouraged to stay updated on this exciting collaboration between Mazda Philippines and AutoExe.
