The vehicle supports both DC and AC charging, with a maximum charging rate of 30 kW DC and 6.6 kW AC, making it convenient for various charging scenarios. Performance is also noteworthy, with the Seagull accelerating from 0 to 50 km/h in just 4.9 seconds and achieving a top speed of 130 km/h, catering to the dynamic needs of urban driving. To further maximize its range and capabilities, the new Seagull also features vehicle-to-load (V2L) functionality, allowing users to power external devices. Additionally, it offers three driving modes, Eco, Normal, and Sport, to liven up your driving experience.

Safety is a top priority for BYD, and the Seagull has a comprehensive suite of safety features. These include a reverse camera, three rear parking sensors, four airbags, and cruise control, part of the DiPilot suite of features that enhance the driving experience through intelligent assistance. The Seagull has an introductory price of P898,000 for the single variant and includes a solid 6-year or 160,000 km bumper-to-bumper warranty package and an 8-year or 160,000 km BYD Blade battery. The electric hatchback comes in three colors: Delan Black and Apricity White, featuring a Black and Dark Blue interior, while the Sprout Green offers a Black and Light Blue cabin color scheme, giving buyers various stylish options.
