GAC Motor Philippines has launched the all-new GS3 Emzoom crossover SUV – the latest version of GAC Motor’s entry-level nameplate and a strong addition to the popular 5-seater segment. Featuring GAC’s new design language coupled with advanced technology, an efficient drivetrain, and an accessible price point, GAC Motor aims to disrupt the segment with this crossover’s value proposition. First unveiled in China last December 2022, the Philippines is the first market to launch the crossover SUV outside China.

The GS3 Emzoom has a sporty yet futuristic industrial aesthetic defined by angular edges, geometric textures, and a dynamic stance. Its front facia features the brand’s Flying Wing Front Grille matched with Laser-Eye LED headlights and its sides are led by arc shadow blades that lead to its light dart tail lamps. The futuristic design continues inside the cabin which combines a trendy aesthetic with functionality and comfort.
Under the hood of the GS3 Emzoom is a third-generation 1.5 Turbocharged gasoline direct injection (GDI) engine paired with a seven-speed Wet Dual Clutch Transmission. The setup delivers 174hp and 270 Nm of torque.

Exclusive to the top grade GL variant are 19-inch alloy wheels and a sporty body kit; electric tailgate; automatic headlights; power side mirrors; rain-sensing front windshield wipers; sunroof; leather steering wheel and seats (starting with midgrade variant); rear center armrest; multi-color ambient lights; additional Airbags; Hill Descent Control (HDC) (starting with midgrade variant); wireless smartphone charger; 7” LCD instrument cluster and rear USB port (starting with midgrade variant); and a surround-view camera system.
In addition, the GS3 Emzoom GL variant comes with a wide range of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) features, namely: Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC + Integrated Cruise Assist (ICA), Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB); Forward Collision Warning (FCW); Traffic Sign Recognition System (TSR); Traffic Jam Assist (TJA); High Beam Assist (HBA); Intelligent Speed Limit Control (ISLC); and Land Keep Assist (LKA) + Lane Departure Warning (LDW).
The all-new GS3 Emzoom comes with a 5-year warranty, and comes in three variants at the following special introductory price points:
- 1.5L GS DCT for Php 998,000
- 1.5L GB DCT for Php 1,098,000
- 1.5L GL DCT for Php 1,198,000
Available colors include Salt Lake Blue (exclusive to the top-grade variant), Graphene Grey (matte finish), Moonlight Grey, Ivory White, and Superstar Silver.
