The Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) continues to boost its auto loan offerings, as it joins the upcoming Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS), the biennial event that brings the country’s biggest auto manufacturers and distributors together to showcase their latest vehicles and cutting-edge technologies.

As the show’s exclusive auto financing partner, BPI will extend its 171 Anniversary promo, which will offer qualified PIMS attendees waived fees of up to Php 171,000, as well as exclusive partner offers, and free insurance.

“Given that events are slowly going back to normal, BPI would like to support the recovery of the motoring industry. By taking part in CAMPI’s PIMS, this will show that together we will all recover as one,” said Dennis Fronda, Head of Retail Lending, BPI

With the theme “Mobility + Humanity: Innovating for the Common Good,” PIMS 2022 will bring together 13 of the top automotive brands including long-term partners BMW, Foton, Honda, Isuzu, Kia, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Suzuki, and Toyota, as well as new members Chery, Geely, and Hyundai. Organized by the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (CAMPI), PIMS 2022 is the 8th iteration of the successful motor show.

“Despite the challenges, we are positive that the industry is on its way to revival and recovery as evidenced by the double-digit growth in the past month with an 18.4% increase in vehicle sales year-to-date. Currently, we are almost at 57% of our annual industry target,” said CAMPI President Atty. Rommel Gutierrez.

“This event will serve as another avenue not only to car enthusiasts but also for Filipinos looking to explore and who are already in the stage of planning to buy their own car or looking to have an upgrade,” added Fronda.

The 8th PIMS will be held at the World Trade Center in Pasay City from September 15 to 18, 2022 (Thursday to Sunday). Tickets are priced at Php 200 each, with the first 1,000 ticket buyers getting a 50% discount every show day. Gates will be open from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
