GAC International Philippines, Inc. convened its nationwide dealer body on February 27 for the 2026 GAC Philippines Dealer Conference, a meeting that effectively laid out the brand’s operational playbook for the market: tighter control, faster support, and a more standardized retail experience under direct oversight.
Carrying the theme “Building Success Together as ONE GAC,” the conference was the first dealer gathering held since GAC International Philippines, Inc. was established as the brand’s wholly owned local subsidiary—marking a shift to a direct, self-operated presence in the country. With management now linked to GAC headquarters, the setup is positioned to improve parts availability, streamline aftersales support, and enable closer coordination across dealers, a crucial pressure point in an industry where ownership experience can make or break brand loyalty.
Dealer principals and representatives from Metro Manila, North Luzon, South Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao joined a dealer agreement signing ceremony during the event, underscoring the breadth of GAC’s network and signaling stability as the organization resets its structure locally. The broader strategy was framed around the ONE GAC philosophy—One Brand, One Channel, and One Service—aimed at delivering consistent standards in sales, service, and customer experience nationwide.

“The change to self-operation shows our strong confidence in the local market. It also means we will invest more resources, strengthen the local team, and fully support all partners for win-win growth,” said Steven Wang, Senior Vice President of GAC International.
Alongside network alignment, dealers were given an exclusive look at GAC’s expanding 2026 pipeline, spanning internal combustion, hybrid, and full electric models, including the GS8 HEV, AION UT, HYPTEC HT, AION V, AION Y Plus, E8, and GN8 PHEV. The breadth of the preview suggests a dual track for growth: widening showroom choice while using the new direct-operation structure to lift consistency in support and service delivery.
As part of its product roadmap, GAC Philippines also emphasized its push to build stronger market awareness for the GS8 HEV, including the upcoming GS8 HEV Limited Edition that is being positioned as a new benchmark in hybrid luxury. The seven-seat premium crossover is set to pair its existing design approach with the Mega Wave THS hybrid system for improved fuel efficiency, using a 2.0T hybrid powertrain listed with a maximum output of 40 kW and 121 Nm of torque. GAC Philippines expects the GS8 HEV to begin accepting orders in March 2026, with pricing and full specifications to be announced closer to launch.
