As its dealership network continues to grow, GAC Motor Philippines recently held its first dealer conference at Marco Polo Hotel in Pasig City. The conference aimed to build stronger ties with its dealer network and to strengthen the brand presence in the country.
With the theme “2gether 2 Get There”, the company presented its sales targets for 2022, as well as its short and long-term goals. Aside from the executives of Legado Motors, Inc., the official distributor of GAC in the country, also present were representatives from its dealers in Pasig, Pampanga, Tarlac, Alabang, Davao, Bacoor, Tacloban, and Iloilo.
“This year, we will be focusing on giving training programs to our dealer partners, not just on the technical side, but also on building the self-confidence of our sales agents by gearing them with sufficient knowledge about the brand and vehicle models being sold in the country,” said Ma. Hilda San Juan, dealer development manager of GAC Motor Philippines.
GAC also aims to better serve customers in the southern area, new dealerships will soon open in Bacoor, Tacloban, and Iloilo. Nationwide mall displays for more exposure are in the pipeline.
GAC Motor Philippines President and CEO Wilbert Lim expressed his confidence that the brand will soon gain the hearts of Filipinos.
“We all know that we are not as popular as Geely, MG, Changan, and Chery, but as we start to set a standard to our brand, slowly but surely we will become one of them. With the quality of our products, I’m sure that Filipinos will patronize them. It may be tough and challenging, but through everyone’s efforts and commitment, I believe it will be possible,” he said.
GAC Motor Philippines’ main showroom is located at 1800 Ortigas Ave., Brgy. Ugong, Pasig City.
