BYD Cars Philippines, in partnership with ACMobility, has sold over 1,062 units of the BYD Atto 3 in 2024, making it the best-selling battery electric subcompact crossover after just one year of sales.
“The latest updates to the BYD Atto 3 enhance its appeal with refined features that keep it fresh and competitive in the growing EV market,” said Bob Palanca, Managing Director of BYD Cars Philippines. “Known for offering high-quality features at an affordable price, the Atto 3 continues to attract new customers to the brand as it solidifies its position as the electric vehicle of choice for those seeking a stylish and accessible BEV amid the market’s transition to an electric-powered lifestyle.”

Enhanced Modern Design and Improved Functionality
The new BYD Atto 3 has received updates that enhance its functionality and aesthetic appeal. One of the key improvements is the new power tailgate in the Premium variant, which offers greater convenience and easier access to the rear compartment. The vehicle also sports a prominent BYD logo on its tailgate, simplifying its rear design. Gloss black accents on the D-pillar garnish and window trim refresh the new Atto 3’s exterior, giving it a more elegant look.
The new BYD Atto 3 also received a wider set of Continental tires (235/50/R18) for the Premium variant, which improves its handling and performance while maintaining its smooth and stable drive. The exterior color options of the Atto 3 now include Cosmos Black for 2025.
“The updates to the new BYD Atto 3 enhance both its design and functionality, ensuring a more refined driving experience. These improvements reinforce our commitment to providing innovative and high-quality electric vehicles for our customers,” added Palanca.

Upgraded Interior for Comfort and Style
Ambient lighting in the interior of the new Atto 3 is now available for both the Dynamic and Premium variants. A PM 2.5 air filter with on-screen monitoring, which ensures better interior air quality, has also been added, contributing to the occupants’ health and comfort.
Customers can also enjoy new interior color options with the new BYD Atto 3. Blue and grey interiors combine with lighter body colors. Simultaneously, a blue and black finish pairs with darker exterior shades to create a more formal contrast.
The infotainment system has been upgraded with a larger 15.6-inch touchscreen display for the Premium variant, improving menu visuals and usability, offering a range of connected services, and ensuring a seamless driving experience.
Additionally, a newly introduced Near-Field Communication (NFC) card provides convenience for easy keyless entry, starting, and access to the car’s other features.

Reliable and Proven All-Electric Powertrain
The powertrain options for the new BYD Atto 3 remain unchanged, maintaining its impressive 204 PS and 310 Nm of torque. Depending on the variant, it offers two Blade Battery options: a 49.9 kWh offering 410 kilometers of range and a 60.5 kWh with up to 480 kilometers.
“By incorporating thoughtful changes that enhance convenience, style, and performance, the BYD Atto 3 remains the perfect choice for those transitioning to electric vehicles,” said Aiffy Liu, Country Head of BYD Philippines. “Our commitment to maintaining affordability while improving design and quality makes the Atto 3 stand out in the competitive BEV market.”
The SRP of the new BYD Atto 3 remains unchanged at P 1,598,000 for the Dynamic variant and P 1,798,000 for the Premium trim. Additionally, it retains its comprehensive warranty coverage—an 8-year or 160,000-km (whichever comes first) warranty for the BYD Blade Battery, an 8-year or 150,000-km (whichever comes first) warranty for the electric motor, and a 6-year or 150,000-km (whichever comes first) vehicle warranty.
