Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) received multiple honors at the recent GREEN Awards in Santa Rosa City, marking its continued push for environmental sustainability.

The annual GREEN, or Guarantee the Restoration of the Environment and our Ecological Niche Awards are organized by the City Government of Santa Rosa, led by City Mayor Arlene Arcillas, and the City Environment and Natural Resources Office headed by Engr. Amor Salandanan. The program recognizes public and private organizations for work in environmental protection, sustainability, and climate action.

Held at the City of Santa Rosa Multi-Purpose Complex in Barangay Tagapo, the ceremony gave MMPC several awards, including the Special Award of Recognition for Environmental Sustainability and Stewardship, Sustainable Development Award, Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Award, and Earth Hour Advocate.

The recognitions reflect MMPC’s effort to go beyond compliance and apply sustainable practices across its manufacturing operations.

The GREEN Awards honor organizations and partners that support lower carbon emissions, responsible resource use, stronger energy efficiency, and environmental awareness in their communities and industries.
