Tuason Racing, together with Phoenix PULSE, started the eSports campaign in April to bring together racing enthusiasts during the quarantine period. The event aimed to raise funds while giving the racers an alternative venue while the tracks remained closed.
Iñigo Anton ruled the premier #RaceForFrontliners championship round, with Russell Cabrera and Corban Guerrero placing second and third, respectively.
“There will always be someone better than you out there and you should make them your inspiration to be better. I learn a lot from them and I believe that experience, hard work, and practice will always make you a better racer,” said Anton.
Anton brought home a new racing simulator rig decked with an OMP Full Bucket Seat, a Seven Star Garage Sim Rig Frame, a Logitech G29 Wheel, an LG HD Television unit, an OMP Racing Suit, and an OMP Helmet worth more than Php 150,000.

To add to the excitement of the culminating event, a celebrity category was added with participants racing for their chosen barangay beneficiaries. The celebrities went head-to-head in the time attack competition, and Ivan Carapiet finished with the best time to claim the champion title. Carapiet won Php 50,000 worth of Family Mart food packages to be donated to Barangay Western Bicutan, while the other celebrity racers’ chosen beneficiaries each received P10,000 worth of goodies.
“I am truly happy I got to do what I love while helping people. We have to move forward to evolve. Congratulations to all the competitors and TRS!” said Carapiet.
The event raised a total of Php 403,000 for donation to various frontliners and barangays.
