Hyundai Motor Philippines Inc. (HMPH) successfully concluded its “Hope in a Bag” project in collaboration with Knowell PH, a local brand that produces bags out of sustainable materials. Throughout 2025, Hyundai partnered with Knowell during events such as the Hyundai Mobility Experience, where customers redeemed exclusive Hyundai-branded Knowell bags as part of on-site promotions.

For every bag redeemed during the brand’s events, Hyundai pledged an equivalent donation of one school bag, innovating the customer experience by allowing customers to be a part of a good cause. Last December, HMPH, in partnership with Knowell, distributed a total of 1,130 bags filled with school materials to children across several local communities and schools.

The turnover ceremonies were held in collaboration with local government units, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), and local school administrators. Beneficiaries included communities from Talisay City, Cebu; Taguig City; Iba, Zambales; and DSWD Residential Care Facilities, namely Marillac Hills, Haven for Children, and Nayon ng Kabataan.

This initiative reflects Hyundai’s commitment to its global vision of “Progress for Humanity”, extending care beyond mobility and fostering opportunities for learning and growth. “Hyundai Motor Philippines is a proud partner of Knowell PH. We are thrilled to have donated over a thousand schoolbags to several beneficiaries nationwide to cap off 2025, all thanks to the support of our customers. This shows our customers that when you are a Hyundai owner, you get to make a difference.” said Cecil Capacete, Managing Director of Hyundai Motor Philippines.

The project also underscores Hyundai’s sustainability efforts and advocacy for social responsibility, reinforcing its role as a brand that innovates not only in mobility but also in creating positive impact for society.
