Ford Philippines is enhancing the ownership experience with the launch of the Ford Mobile Service Vehicle (MSV). This innovative service facility is designed to bring dealership-quality maintenance directly to customers’ locations, offering a range of services like oil changes, tire rotations, brake services, and more, all without requiring a visit to the dealership.
The modified Ford Ranger is fitted with a fabricated rig equipped with advanced diagnostic tools and Ford Genuine Parts, and it can handle essential maintenance such as battery replacements, vehicle software updates, and multi-point inspections. This mobile service option makes it easier for busy customers to maintain their Ford vehicles from the comfort of their home or other convenient locations, saving both time and effort.
“At Ford, we recognize that our customers lead busy lives and want convenience on their terms. At the same time, they see maintenance and service as essential elements of vehicle ownership. With the Mobile Service Vehicle, we’re bringing dealership-quality service directly to their doorstep,” said Pedro Simoes, managing director, Ford Philippines. “Ford owners can now experience convenient and expert servicing wherever needed, saving them time and ensuring that their vehicle remains in top condition.”
The service has already proven successful in several countries, including Thailand, India, South Africa, and Vietnam, with over 370,000 MSV experiences in 2024 alone. Ford aims to elevate customer satisfaction by providing convenient and expert service wherever needed.
“In other markets where we have the Mobile Service Vehicle, customers pay the same as at a Ford dealership. The same will be true for us here in the Philippines,” said Joyce Laxamana, director, Ford Customer Service Division.
For its initial rollout in April 2025, Ford will have ten MSVs spread out through its dealership network. Ford owners can schedule MSV services through their nearest Ford dealership or by visiting the Ford Service Booking website at www.ford.com.ph/service-booking/.
