iCAUR hasn’t officially launched in the Philippines yet, but the local media has already driven its cars. On September 28 and 29, 2026, iCAUR V23 and V27 units hit the roads for the brand’s first Media Test Drive in the Philippines. Held at Forrèsta Cafe on Villar Avenue in Dasmariñas, Cavite, and gave members of the media and automotive industry guests their first chance to see and drive iCAUR vehicles in the country.
The two-day, by-invitation-only event came ahead of the brand’s official Philippine launch. Media guests got an early, hands-on look at the vehicles, from their distinctive design and electric mobility technology to their intelligent features and how they actually drive.

V23: Retro-Inspired Electric Mobility
The V23 takes an unusual approach in the electric SUV segment. It wraps modern EV technology in a compact, boxy body with retro-inspired styling.
It’s 4,220mm long, 1,915mm wide, and 1,845mm tall, and it rides on a 2,735mm wheelbase. iCAUR positions it as a lifestyle-oriented electric SUV that can handle light off-roading. The design cues include circular LED headlamps, a near-vertical windscreen, chunky wheel arches, and a side-opening tailgate. Together they recall classic off-roaders, yet the V23 still looks clearly modern. With 210mm of ground clearance and a 600mm wading depth, it can go further than most urban EV buyers will ever need.

V27: Golden REEV Platform Delivers Extended Range with Off-Road Muscle
The V27 is a mid-size SUV that uses iCAUR’s “Golden REEV” range-extended electric vehicle system. Electric motors drive the vehicle, and an on-board 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine works only as a generator, recharging the battery on the move.
Its size, though, puts it among full-size SUVs. The V27 is 5,045mm long, 1,976mm wide, and 1,894mm tall, with a 2,900mm wheelbase. Those proportions match those of established large off-road SUVs.

Building a Local Network for iCAUR Ownership
The test drive comes as iCAUR Philippines puts the groundwork for its local operations in place before the official launch. On September 23, 2026, the company welcomed its founding dealers to a signing ceremony held at SMX Convention Center Aura in Taguig City. Britannica United will operate iCAUR Quezon Avenue. DC Automotive will manage iCAUR Manila Bay. Under the Laus Group of Companies is iCAUR Pampanga. MG Gateway South Corporation will handle iCAUR Makati, iCAUR Cebu, and iCAUR Davao. The brand is targeting to open 4 more dealerships by the end of the year.
iCAUR’s arrival will expand access to electric vehicles in the Philippines and strengthen OJMPI’s presence in the country’s growing electric mobility market.
iCAUR is the second brand introduced by Omoda & Jaecoo Motor Philippines. It focuses on a new generation of electric mobility that combines distinctive design, intelligent technology, and lifestyle-oriented practicality.
With its first local media test drive done and its first dealers in place, iCAUR Philippines is now closer to its official debut. It plans to bring its take on electric mobility, along with a connected ownership experience, to Filipino buyers.
