A few weeks ago, Ford Philippines invited us to a mother-child bonding activity as an early Mother’s Day treat.
Grouped together with DJ Rammy Bitong and his Mom Cora, we prepared Chinese dishes which surprisingly turned out pretty good despite our limited skills prep time.

Cooking, and obviously eating, has always been a bonding activity for our family — so my daughter and I were in our element from the get-go. (Read: ALILA. Hahaha)
Aside from ours, two other groups participated in the activities held at The Cookery Place in BGC. The second group was composed of Blogger Sarah Tirona from Fashion Eggplant with daughter Nicola (but her hubby did all the cooking, haha) paired with radio personality Tracy Abad with her MIL-to-be. (Hat tip to Tracy’s fiance who took most of the photos with me in it. ). The third and most competitive of the lot was composed of Ej Francisco, Kat Lanot, and Carla Moreno representing Ford.

As an added treat, each group got to take home a bag full of goodies, plus a lend-out of either an #EcoSport or an #Everest.
We drove home with a 2017 Ford Everest Titanium 3.2L 4×4 AT that day. Truth be told, it was a bit too much horsepower and space for our daily routine, but we weren’t complaining. “Moms, do we get to keep the Everest forever?” LOL
