In a significant step towards giving back to the community, MG Philippines has partnered with the Fort Bonifacio Development Foundation, Inc. (FBDFI) to provide deserving college students with scholarships, covering their daily expenses through a monthly allowance. As part of this initiative, MG Philippines has donated P1,000,000 to support the Bayani Scholarship Program, reinforcing the brand’s mission to uplift communities and make a lasting impact on the lives of young Filipinos.

This partnership reflects MG Philippines’ strong commitment to investing in the next generation of Filipino leaders. By enabling students to pursue higher education without the burden of financial constraints, MG Philippines and FBDFI are helping turn dreams into tangible opportunities for success. The third batch of the Bayani Scholarship Program has benefited five first-year college students pursuing various degrees across institutions such as Taguig City University, the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, and the Institute of Creative Computer Technology.

The selected scholars, who come from public high schools within Taguig and nearby communities, have demonstrated determination, discipline, and a strong commitment to completing their college education despite facing significant financial and family-related challenges. The selection process for the FBDFI scholarship program is based not only on academic potential but also on character, with scholars being chosen for their grit, resilience, and perseverance.

“We believe that education is a powerful catalyst for change,” said Wei Wei Zhang, President of MG Philippines. “Through this partnership, we hope to provide young Filipinos not only with financial support, but also with encouragement to keep pushing forward, overcome challenges, and build better futures for themselves and their families.“

The scholarship program provides beneficiaries with a monthly allowance for their college education, as well as academic guidance, mentorship, and access to development programs aimed at strengthening both professional skills and personal growth.

“Partnering with MG Philippines allows us to extend our support to students who, despite limited access to higher education, show exceptional resilience and potential,” said Ezeviel Frago, Community Relations Officer of Fort Bonifacio Development Foundation, Inc. (FBDFI). “Together, we are opening doors to opportunity and helping shape a generation that will give back to their communities.“

Through initiatives like this, MG Philippines continues to demonstrate that corporate success goes hand in hand with community development, proving that a brand’s impact extends beyond vehicles to creating meaningful, lasting change in people’s lives.
