VinFast will launch its first e-scooter lineup in the Philippines in July 2026, with preorders expected to begin in June. The rollout aims to offer Filipinos practical electric alternatives amid volatile fuel prices and growing urban congestion.
The initial local lineup will center on three models: Evo, Feliz II, and Viper. The Evo will be positioned as an entry-level commuter model for students, first-time EV users and urban riders, offering up to 150 km of range per charge on select battery configurations and top speeds up to 80 km/h on chosen variants.
The Feliz II will target commuters and families seeking a comfortable, lifestyle-oriented urban scooter, with dual-battery configurations rated to about 145 km and top speeds up to 90 km/h. The Viper will serve performance-focused riders, delivering up to 5,200W of output and top speeds approaching 90 km/h while retaining daily usability; Smart Key will be standard on the Viper.

Under preliminary Philippine specs, all three models will use LFP batteries and will support home charging and battery swapping. Standard charging times will range from roughly 4.5 hours for single-battery versions to about 3.5 hours with optional fast chargers on dual-battery variants. Customers who choose battery subscription programs will be able to access swapping stations, while outright battery purchasers will primarily charge at home.
VinFast and ecosystem partner V-Green will target approximately 30,000 battery swapping stations nationwide over time. V-Green, government agencies and private partners will begin building charging and swapping infrastructure ahead of the launch to ensure the ecosystem is customer-ready from day one.
VinFast will emphasize ecosystem development as a competitive advantage, replicating aspects of its Vietnam strategy where the brand delivered more than 406,000 electric motorcycles in 2025, a 473% year-on-year increase. The company expects a similar path toward mainstream adoption as Filipino riders weigh fuel costs and convenience.
Early dealer feedback after test rides in Vietnam highlighted the ecosystem approach. Filipino dealer executive Jose Daniel “Jonel” Borromeo, whose Motor Ace Philippines group operates about 250 motorcycle stores nationwide, said: “By building your whole ecosystem, you can control everything, which I think is a great example for any brand that wants to become a market leader. If VinFast is looking at becoming a market leader, then definitely creating its own ecosystem would be a great approach, similar to what Steve Jobs did with Apple.”

In April, VinFast signed strategic cooperation agreements with 14 e-scooter distributors across the Philippines as part of its nationwide retail and after-sales expansion plan, laying groundwork for dealer rollout, service and support. These include Wheeltek Motor Sales Corporation; Gentrade International Phils., Inc. (Transcycle); Superbikes Corporation; Motoxpress Sales Corporation; FMN Industrial Corp.; Eduhome Enterprise, Inc.; Keymotors Incorporated; Motorpro by Abenson Ventures Inc. and Aserco; Moto Atelier Inc.; Ciclo Suerte; HG Motorzone; HGC Main Marketing (Motorboy); BLC Cycle Parts Supply; and Auto Ten Trade & Services Corp.
VinFast will prioritize establishing a strong presence in key urban centers before expanding nationwide. More details on pricing, dealer locations, financing and introductory offers will be released ahead of the July launch.
