VinFast has launched the VF MPV 7 in the Philippines, making the country the model’s third international market and further broadening the Vietnamese carmaker’s local electric-vehicle lineup.

Positioned as a seven-seat family MPV, the VF MPV 7 enters the market at P1,518,000 with the battery included, or P1,239,000 under VinFast’s battery-subscription scheme. The subscription is priced at P2,700 per month for up to 2,000 kilometers and P4,150 for usage beyond that threshold. Orders open on May 5, 2026 through VinFast dealerships nationwide. Until May 31, the first 1,000 customers will receive one year of free battery subscription for up to 2,000 km per month, while buyers choosing the battery-included package will get a direct discount of P27,200.

The VF MPV 7 measures 4,740 x 1,872 x 1,734 mm and rides on a 2,840 mm wheelbase, dimensions intended to deliver generous cabin space for multi-generational families. It is powered by a 150-kW electric motor producing 280 Nm of torque, paired with a 60.13-kWh battery rated for up to 450 kilometers of range on the NEDC cycle. VinFast says fast charging from 10 to 70 percent takes about 30 minutes. Cargo capacity reaches 1,240 liters, while standard highlights include 19-inch alloy wheels and the brand’s signature V-shaped LED daytime running lights.

Owners will also benefit from free charging at V-Green stations in the Philippines through March 2029, alongside a seven-year or 160,000-km vehicle warranty and a 10-year or 200,000-km battery warranty.

“The launch of the VF MPV 7 in the Philippines marks another step forward in VinFast’s global expansion strategy and demonstrates our long-term commitment to this market. With its spacious interior, strong performance, optimized operating costs, and sustainable ownership value, we believe the VF MPV 7 will serve as a comprehensive upgrade for Filipino families and set a new benchmark in the MPV segment,” said Antonio “Toti” Zara, CEO of VinFast Southeast Asia.

At the same event, Zara introduced Rhomel Franco as VinFast’s new chief executive for the Philippines. Franco is an industry veteran and has experience in leading brands and dealership groups. When asked about his plans for the Vietnamese brand, Franco said that he will continue the popular initiatives that Zara started in the country, who’s success is evident in the brand’s ranking the number one BEV (battery electric vehicle) brand in the country for the first quarter of 2026.

The launch underscores VinFast’s broader push to deepen its presence in the Philippines, not only through new products but also by expanding its dealership and aftersales footprint as it seeks to make EV ownership more practical and accessible for Filipino motorists.
