Oracle Red Bull Racing driver Max Verstappen won the Japanese Grand Prix, the 18th round of the 2022 FIA Formula 1 World Championship, held on Sunday, October 11, 2022, clinching the World Championship title for the second time and for the second consecutive season.
Oracle Red Bull Racing is currently competing this season with a power unit that Red Bull Powertrains (RBPT) supplies with technical support from Honda Racing Corporation (HRC). For 2022, Verstappen has won 12 first-places plus 2 other podium finishes in the 22-leg season, including five consecutive wins, clinching his second consecutive Driver’s World Championship title with four rounds remaining in this season.
