Shell partners with Transportify; To provide Shell Fleet Cards to driver-partners

Energy leader Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corporation will now be fueling Transportify, the leading business logistics provider in the Philippines, providing its driver-partners with Shell Fleet Cards for better fuel management.

Backed by Shell’s over 50 years of fuel card expertise across the largest network of stations in the world, Shell Fleet Card gives Transportify’s driver-partners greater control, convenience, security and savings through a more efficient fuel payment system.

“Over the years, we’ve taken part on innovations the best we can, and we needed a platform that can provide Transportify drivers access to a range of Shell offers,” said Paolo Salapantan, International Key Account Manager for Shell Fleet Solutions.

Paulo Bengson, Transportify Regional COO and Co-Country Director in the Philippines says that through this partnership with Shell Fleet Solutions, they were able to leverage technology in a very efficient manner. He reveals that, like Shell, they are rapidly expanding in the Philippines, and they want to provide services all over Luzon.

“We want to help our driver-partners beyond giving them a source of income but also by helping them manage their fuel costs in a very convenient manner,” Bengson notes. “Drivers can buy fuel at their convenience through the integrated system of Shell Fleet Solutions and Transportify,” he adds.

Through Shell Fleet Card, driver-partners can take advantage of buying fuel using the platform, and they can load their card anytime and anywhere ensuring there are no disruptions in their operations. At the same time, Transportify will have complete visibility of transactions, allowing them to track and review their driver-partners’ fuel consumption for further cost management and route planning.

“Shell is our partner of choice. Apart from the full range of offers, Shell presented the most competitive value proposition. We are looking forward to further taking this partnership to a retailer level where our driver-partners can get to enjoy more opportunities that go beyond fuel – from Shell lubricants, snacks on the go and other on-the-road needs at Shell deli2go,” Bengson stresses.
