Astara-backed JMC Philippines, the official importer and distributor of JMC Pick-ups in the country, is set to exhibit at four malls nationwide this July 2024.
The automaker will display its flagship Grand Avenue at selected locations in Pasig, Alabang, Cagayan de Oro and Bacolod. The dates and venues are as follows:
- July 1 to 7 – SM Bacolod
- July 1 to 31 – SM Downtown Cagayan de Oro
- July 3 to 19 – Virra Mall Greenhills
- July 15 to 21 – Festival Mall Alabang

Ruggedness and refinement, all in one
While most pick-up trucks are engineered simply for utility, the Grand Avenue offers the best in capability and refinement that allows you to haul whatever you want, without compromising passenger comfort.
It’s tough and stylish exterior, emphasized by the prominent two-bar grill, is accentuated by premium features like automatic headlights, rain-sensing wipers, skid plates, and 17-inch alloy wheels with 265/65 series tires.
The Grand Avenue is also among the largest pick-ups in its class, measuring 5,450 millimeters long, 1,935 millimeters wide, and 1,872 millimeters tall, with a 3,270-millimeter wheelbase. It has a generous cargo bed that is 1,546 millimeters long, 1,595 millimeters wide, and 546 millimeters tall, all while boasting an 870-kilogram payload.
Capacious and pampering cabin
The Grand Avenue’s size means a palatial interior for five passengers that is designed to provide the utmost comfort.
It comes standard with leather upholstery, keyless entry with a push-start button, flip-up rear seats, automatic climate control with PM 2.5 filtration, a 3.5-inch TFT digital multi-information display, and a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Features exclusive to the automatic variants include a 6-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat, rear air-conditioning vents, paddle shifters, and an electronic parking brake.
JMC Philippines has also loaded the Grand Avenue with a wide array of safety and convenience features like cruise control, an electronic stability program, hill-launch assist, hill-descent control, rollover mitigation, parking sensors, and a reverse distance display.
In addition, all Grand Avenues come with dual front airbags and ISOFIX child-restraint anchors, with automatic variants adding side and curtain airbags.
Turbocharged Brawn
Powering the Grand Avenue is a 2.3-liter, twin-cam, 16-valve, inline-4 Puma turbodiesel engine producing 177 PS at 3,200 rpm and 450 Newton-meters of torque at 1,500 to 2,400 rpm for automatic variants (400 Newton-meters at 1,400 to 2,800 rpm for manual models).
This can be mated to either a Magna 6-speed manual or a ZF 8-speed automatic; both of these gearboxes were engineered and manufactured in Europe to provide all Grand Avenues with exceptional performance.
In addition, all 4×4 variants use the proven BorgWarner electronic four-wheel-drive system with a center-differential lock for optimum mobility on rough roads. The Grand Avenue also features a 30-degree approach angle and a 26-degree departure angle.
