Nissan unveiled the new additions to its NISMO line up for the Philippine market: the long-awaited 370Z NISMO and the Juke NISMO at the 7th Philippine International Motor show.
“We have definitely seen a lot of interest and positive response to the GT-R NISMO and we want to reach more Filipinos looking for more excitement in their cars through this latest offering of performance vehicles,” said Ramesh Narasimhan, president and managing director, Nissan Philippines.
The 370z NISMO’s GTR-inspired functional and fully integrated aerodynamic body pieces proved an aggressive and more aerodynamic appearance, along with optimizing front and read downforce.
The 370z is powered by a potent 350 HP 3.7 liter DOHC V6 engine with variable valve event and lift control (VVEL) torque is rated at 374.20 Nm. The 370z NISMO tech also features a refined 4-wheel independent suspension NISMO brand strut tower brace for enhanced body rigidity and a pair of performance dampers to help minimize road-input vibrations and help contribute in the 370z NISMO high levels of handling and performance field.
Meanwhile, the Juke NISMO is known for its unique styling and dynamic performance, combining crossover utility and sports car sensibilities. For the Philippine market, the Juke NISMO will be carrying the aerodynamic body kit. The vehicle also comes with the cutting-edge I-CON System that customizes the driving experience. Drivers can easily switch between driving modes, whether it’s a fuel-efficient drive or a thrilling adventure.
“NISMO makes it possible for drivers to experience the ultimate Nissan performance every day,” says Hiroshi Tamura, NISMO chief product specialist. “It’s everything from functional design to race-proven engineering that brings back the thrill of the drive.”
The iconic Nissan GT-R NISMO is displayed alongside the two future additions to the Japanese automaker’s NISMO lineup, which will be introduced to the market in the latter part of 2019.
In addition to these to the NISMO version, the standard Nissan 370z will also be available in the market next year.
The 7th Philippine International Motor Show is happening from October 24 to 28 at the World Trade Center, Pasay City.
