“The all-new Isuzu Traviz continues our tradition of providing not just reliable products but business solutions — reasons why, in the Philippines, Isuzu has been at the number one spot for more than 19 years,” said IPC president Hajime Koso.
Koso added that the all-new Traviz answers the three most pressing and current customer needs, based on detailed market survey and IPC’s extensive on-the-ground experience in the Philippines.

Showcasing the different configurations of their new lightweight truck, Isuzu stressed the advantages of the all-new Traviz which include interior cab spaciousness, engine brake performance, maneuverability, and overall modern design, backed by strong aftersales support. Its turning radius of 4.5 meters is the shortest in its class and enables better maneuverability in tight spaces while carrying heavy loads. The Traviz also offers a wide cabin with better legroom that provides a more ergonomic and comfortable driving position.
To address the varied needs of its customers, the Traviz is available in several body configurations that include a utility van, an aluminum van, a refrigerated van, and a dropside truck. It will also be available as a Class 1 public utility vehicle, specced in accordance with the government’s PUV Modernization Program.

Powered by the Euro 4-rated 4JA1 2.5-liter Direct Injection Common Rail Blue Power diesel engine mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. This is the same engine that powered Isuzu’s reliable Crosswind AUV. The Traviz is rated to carry up to 1.6-ton payload, the heaviest in the lightweight truck category. Aside from the comfortable cabin, amenities include power steering, an easy-to-read console, a 1-DIN USB-ready radio, as well as air conditioning as a client option.
The all-new Isuzu Traviz is so named using the words “Transport, Trading, and Transcend,” combined with the word “biz,” the shortened term for “business.” Its design concept combines the best qualities of Japan’s best-selling truck (hexapod design, fuel efficiency, capacity, rigidity) with the flexibility and stability of Isuzu pickups in order to produce the two variants of the all-new Traviz: The Traviz S (Short Wheel Base) and the Traviz L (Long Wheel Base).

The Isuzu Traviz is available with a base price of Php 962,000 for the Traviz S, and Php 992,000 for the Traviz L and comes with a 3-year or 100,000 km warranty.
