Hyundai Motor Philippines Inc. (HMPH) has broadened its hybrid lineup with launch of the new STARIA Hybrid. Priced from P1,999,000 and rated at a best-in-class fuel efficiency of 17.7 km/L, it pairs smart hybrid performance with elevated comfort, advanced connectivity and flexible space for modern families and professionals.
The STARIA Hybrid cuts a bold, futuristic silhouette. new 18-inch alloy wheels, a reworked front grille and cube-projection LED headlamps sharpen its premium look. But it isn’t all show — the generous interior keeps the STARIA’s practical, spacious DNA intact.

This is Hyundai’s first model to offer Bluelink, the connected-car platform that keeps drivers tied to their vehicle. Via Hyundai Live Services, owners receive real-time traffic and weather info straight through the infotainment system — no smartphone tethering needed — with data refreshed every two minutes to make trips safer and more efficient.
Bluelink also supports online voice recognition, so you can send and receive text messages without taking your focus off the road. When not driving it reports vehicle status, diagnostics and health summaries, and lets you remotely control climate, locks, horn and lights so the cabin’s ready before you step in.
Premium space made smarter
Inside, the new STARIA Hybrid pushes comfort and convenience forward. A larger 12.3-inch infotainment screen gives a clearer, more intuitive interface for entertainment, navigation and hybrid fuel info. A 12‑speaker Bose premium audio system delivers an immersive soundstage through the cabin. USB Type‑C ports front and rear, plus a front wireless charging pad, keep devices topped up.
Small details add up. A steering column-mounted Shift-by-Wire tidies the cockpit and frees space. Power seats with lumbar support, plus heating and ventilation, keep occupants comfortable on long hauls. A dual power and tilt sunroof lifts the cabin atmosphere.

The STARIA Hybrid balances passenger comfort with cargo practicality. The nine-seater is now available in a three-row layout, while the seven-seater gains extended seat rails so owners can shift between people and luggage with ease. Hyundai-exclusive hybrid functions such as e-Handling boost agility and stability through corners; e-Ride smooths ride quality over speed bumps and under rapid acceleration, giving more control in varied driving situations.
Advanced safety features
Hyundai SmartSense is onboard — a suite of advanced safety systems engineered for occupant protection. New aids include Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist and Side Parking Distance Warning, helping drivers stay aware and confident. Six airbags are distributed throughout the cabin for added protection.
Taken together, these elements underscore the new STARIA Hybrid’s promise of safety, space and smart mobility for all occupants.

“The STARIA is one of the most iconic nameplates in our current lineup, completing our Hybrid range while carrying a legacy Filipinos trust. Building on the STAREX’s role in family life, we are proud to be launching the STARIA Hybrid which brings a more connected, comfortable experience for modern and practical Filipino families.” said Jiho Son, HMPH President.
