Honda Philippines, Inc. (HPI), the official manufacturers and distributors of Honda Motorcycles in the Philippines recently held the Luzon leg of its Honda Riders Convention 2019 at the Tagaytay International Convention Center. Held on Saturday, July 20, 2019, the event brought together 3,000 Honda riders and enthusiasts from more than 50 clubs for a full day of activities.
The Honda Riders Convention is one of the many activities that Honda hosts to show their appreciation to its loyal riders. “We consider our riders as our main source of inspiration when designing and innovating new features for our motorcycles. That is why we’d like to give back to these communities by inviting them to a fun-filled event that combines camaraderie, support, passion, and commitment,” said Mr. Jomel Jerezo, HPI’s AVP for Sales & Marketing & Supply Chain Management.

One of the highlights of the event was the showcase of Honda’s Automatic motorcycle models and Neo Sports Big Bikes. Other activities included the Honda test ride activity, the Riders Skills Challenge, the Motor Show, the “Riders Got Talent” competition and the “Miss Honda Riders Con 2019” segment.
New additions to this year’s activities were the Club Meet-up, Social Media Photo Contest, YFF Rider Image Contest, Brotherhood Wall, Trade Partners Selling, Relaxation with Pampering Stations, Teambuilding sessions, Safety Riding Seminar in HSDC booths, and the awarding of the farthest and biggest delegations.

The day was capped off with an awarding ceremony to recognize the achievements of various clubs, as well as a performance by the band Hale.
In order to reach more loyal Honda riders, the Visayas and Mindanao legs of the Honda Riders Convention 2019 is scheduled for later in the year.
