As Geely Philippines closes a milestone year, the brand is entering 2026 with renewed confidence and a clear sense of direction. According to Geely Philippines Senior Sales Director Joey Zhu, 2025 was a special year, marking Geely Group’s 39th anniversary, its 6th year in the Philippines, and the first year of Geely Philippines as a locally operating company.
The brand’s momentum was underpinned by strong global performance, with Geely Auto Group achieving total sales of 3.02 million vehicles in 2025, a 39% year-over-year increase. New energy vehicle (NEV) sales surged by 90% to 1.68 million units, driving the group’s overall sales growth.
For the Philippine market, these numbers translate to great confidence for 2026. Geely Philippines is set to launch five new models across the year, including SUVs, hatchbacks, and sedans, powered by BEV, PHEV, and ICE technologies. The first major model launch will be a plug-in hybrid SUV, featuring a premium interior and exterior design, along with an industry-leading super hybrid system.
“We’re launching multiple new models across the year,” Zhu announced, revealing a concrete product roadmap. “Our goal is 7,000 sales next year. To support this growth, we’re upgrading our dealer network. By next year, we expect over 40 dealers nationwide—better coverage, better service.“
Geely has already upgraded its local after-sales system, building a 4,500-sqm. parts warehouse, stocking about US$5 million worth of parts, and keeping 1.3 million SKUs in inventory. The brand has also tripled operational efficiency, with faster service, higher first-time fulfillment rates, and better stock accuracy.
In addition to its product and after-sales upgrades, Geely is enhancing its relationship with customers through its official owner community, Geely Owner Philippines. Launched in September, the community supports local car clubs with online and offline events, exclusive benefits, direct communication, and fun experiences.
“Geely Owner Philippines is your home—and we’ll always welcome and support you,” Joey said, inviting Geely owners to join and start their own local groups.
With its swift and sustained rise in the Philippines, Geely has earned the trust of 30,000 Filipino customers. “That trust means everything to us,” Zhu emphasized, “and it gives us strong confidence as we prepare to bring exciting new models next year.”
