Chevrolet Philippines recently announced the introduction of the bowtie brand’s latest icon: the 2018 Chevrolet Colorado Centennial Edition, a truck that celebrates 100 years of Chevrolet Truck heritage.
The 2018 Colorado Centennial Edition features design elements that exude the rich Chevrolet truck engineering history. It includes exclusive heritage bowtie emblems on the front and rear. On its front doors are 100-year Chevrolet badges that are inspired by the colors and design cues found on early trucks. Each limited-edition Colorado Centennial model also features a vehicle build number displayed as badges on its front doors and unique hood decals.
Sitting on 18-inch black alloy wheels, the truck’s robust design makes it the ideal vehicle for heavy-duty work and off-road adventures. The rugged character of the 2018 Colorado Centennial Edition is further enhanced by the inclusion of a bed liner, fender flares, and a tubular body sports bar as standard.

Built to Last
The Chevrolet Colorado Centennial Edition is powered by a 2.8L Duramax four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine. With a Variable Geometry Turbocharger (VGT), it produces 200 HP at 3,800 RPM and 500 NM of torque at a low 2,000 RPM. The Euro 4-compliant engine is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.
The Colorado retains the same serious off-road capability with its 1-ton hauling capacity, 3.5-ton towing capacity, and best-in-class 800mm water wading capability.
The truck is equipped with a host of active and passive safety features to keep your mind at ease wherever you are on the road. The 2018 Colorado Centennial Edition features side impact beams, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD), dual front airbags, Panic Brake Assist (PBA), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Traction Control System (TCS), Hill Descent Control (HDC) and Hill Start Assist (HSA), Roll-Over Mitigation (ROM), and Trailer Sway Control (TSC).
The Colorado comes with convenient features including remote start engine, front and rear park assist, electro-chromatic inside rearview mirror, lane departure warning, forward collision alert, and tire pressure monitoring system.

The 2018 Chevrolet Colorado Centennial Edition is another icon in the bowtie brand’s legendary line of trucks. Available at a limited number, the special edition truck is priced at PHP 1,848,888.00. It will be available in Summit White color.
The 2018 Chevrolet Colorado Centennial Edition will officially be available in Chevrolet showrooms on November 30, 2017, and shall be featured in the upcoming Chevrolet Motorama at SM Megamall from November 30 to December 6, 2017.
