It consists of an Integrated Starter Generator (ISG) coupled with a 12V lithium-ion battery (0.12 kWh). Powering this system is a 1.5-liter K15B petrol engine paired with a four-speed automatic transmission.
The engine produces 103 hp at 6,000 rpm and 138 N-m of torque at 4,400 rpm. The belt-driven ISG adds an extra 2.37 hp, primarily assisting acceleration—what Suzuki calls the Torque Assist Function. During driving, the system provides additional power during acceleration and uses regenerative braking to recharge the battery, supporting fuel economy.
